Pikeville Medical Center is a founding member of the Appalachian Osteopathic Post Graduate Training Consortium. Located in the eastern portion of Kentucky, Pikeville Medical Center sits within Pike County, an area filled with scenic and historical attractions. An eligible candidate for Pikeville Medical Center's Post Graduate Medical Education Program must be a graduate of a medical school accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.

The Pikeville Family Practice Clinic is located on the second floor of Pikeville Medical Center (patients should use the Miners' Building entrance behind the main tower) with access to some of the most advanced clinical and diagnostic equipment in the area. The program is under the direction of Dr. Dirck Curry.
