PMC welcomes Dr. Geertruida Kints

Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) proudly announces the addition of Geertruida Kints, MD, emergency medicine physician.

 

Dr. Kints received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Millersville State College in Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Penn.

 

She is board certified in emergency medicine and is certified in advanced trauma life support. Dr. Kints is a licensed physician and surgeon.

 

“I chose emergency medicine to be able to provide medical needs at any time,” she said. “Our doors are always open.”

 

She looks forward to providing emergency care to the region.

 

“My goals for the emergency department are to provide compassionate quality care in a timely manner.”

 

Dr. Kints said her patients can expect compassionate care from her.

 

“I chose to practice medicine at PMC. I received recommendations from other physicians who work here. PMC is a state-of-the-art facility in a friendly, rural community. I look forward to providing care for the people of this region.”

 

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Kints enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking and working in her garden.
