High School Basketball Roundup: Bobcats rally past Blackcats; Lady Tigers roll

BETSY LAYNE – Betsy Layne rallied from a double-digit, first-half deficit to defeat Prestonsburg, 61-57, in a 58th District matchup played at D.W. Howard Fieldhouse on Feb. 1.

 

Grant Orsborn tossed in a game-high 17 points and Jordan Kendrick added 13 as Betsy Layne improved to 3-19. Nathan Hall chipped in 10.

 

Wesley Hager led the Blackcats, now 5-17, with 13 points.
